The weather was gorgeous yesterday. It has been so hot that we really haven’t done much with the dogs outside in a while.  We decided to get out and take a hike on our usual trail.  This time, we brought our gps to track out route.  Turns out it’s almost 2 miles round-trip and takes us an hour to complete the hike.  We burned some serious calories!

We always use our hikes as an opportunity to reinforce our recall, so we stock up with loads of tasty doggie treats before we head out.   I am so impressed with their recall when we’re in the woods.  If we call their name, they come running as fast as they can!  I’m sure they’re just in it for the treats, but whatever gets the job done, right?  ;)
