Wall-eyed Wednesday – The Eyes Have It
Poor Wally developed a nasty case of green eye goop over the weekend, so it was off to the vet with him on Monday. The vet put some yucky neon green liquid in his eyes and shined a blacklight on them to see if he had any sort of scratches on his corneas. Thank goodness he didn’t! It’s just a bad case of conjunctivitis (or as my husband calls it – the stinkeye!). He’s on eye drops three times a day for a week. He is SO good about letting me put them in. He doesn’t even flinch. His eyes already look a million times better!
This boy never lets anything get him down and never fails to make me smile. :)

Yes, the neon green stuff! That stuff is so…neon! Butters had green goop in his eye too, and turns out he did have a scratched cornea. Glad Wally is okay :)
Oh poor Wally. Thats part of being one of those adorable bug eyed breeds-not one of the best parts-but the eyes always see to get little issues

Phoebe had the neon green stuff once when my sister’s foster dog snapped at her face. It was pretty creepy, but fortunately she didn’t have any damage to her eye! Glad Wally is doing better! Nothing much seems to get Bostons down!
