Curious and Conscientious Pet Owners Needed!
I have an exciting opportunity to tour the Natura Pet Food factory in Fremont, Oklahoma in two weeks. Natura makes Innova, EVO, and California Natural pet foods. They were purchased by Procter & Gamble in 2010, which makes me even more curious to know about their production process, as well as what changes they have made since they were acquired by P&G and, in light of all the recent pet food recalls, how they plan to keep our pets safe.
There will be a Q&A session during the visit and I’d like to make a list of all the questions you might have and report back to you with the answers! So, if you had the opportunity to ask a dog food manufacturer any questions, what would they be?

Congratulations on the opportunity to go on the tour and ask questions. I’m sure LuLu and Wally are hoping you get samples.
My question would be how they source the meat for their products and will they be able to keep meat from different farms separate so that if contamination does occur it’s quickly stopped and doesn’t spread to more batches of food.
EXCELLENT question! I will definitely add it to my list. Keep ‘em coming! :)
Wow! you’re going to OK? This is exciting, can’t wait to hear more about it!!
