I tell you this tale
of the tails of my friends,
because both of these dogs
have the cutest rear-ends.

A tale of the tails
of Wally and Lu -
one’s just a nub
and one’s a corkscrew.

One tail can wag,
one can’t even wiggle.
One tail’s quite long,
and one’s just a squiggle.

One points straight up,
and one sticks flat down,
but both of these butts
are the cutest in town.

Though they’re totally different,
they’re both right as can be.
‘Cause when they’re a-waggin’
they’re sharing their glee!
