Back in May, we were given the opportunity to visit the Natura pet food plant in Fremont, Nebraska.  We were thoroughly impressed with the facility, as well as the company’s commitment to providing high-quality pet food using wholesome, natural ingredients and their dedication to ensuring our pets’ health and longevity.  So when we were asked to participate in a feeding trial for Innova’s new formula, we didn’t hesitate to jump on board.  Unfortunately, Wally was unable to participate in the trial because the formula we were given contained chicken and Wally is allergic to chicken.  However, Lu has no allergies and was a very enthusiastic participant.

Innova recently reformulated their kibble by removing potatoes and white rice and adding more meat, as well as whole grains like brown rice, barley and oatmeal.  I have been a die-hard grain-free feeder, but I kept an open mind.  In the past, when I had tried to feed my dogs kibble containing grains, they became gassy and had issues with yeast, so I was not expecting to have the wonderful results that we had.

Lu has now been eating Innova’s NEW Adult Dry formula since the beginning of July and has done remarkably well on it.  She has had absolutely NO issues with gas or yeast.  Her coat is shiny and soft, her teeth are clean and her breath is fresh.  Call me a convert!
